Encounter had its World Premiere as the “Closing Night Film” at the Other Worlds Austin Sci-Fi Film Festival. It went on to win “Best Director” at the 44th Boston Sci-Film Festival and the “Audience Award” and “Best Supporting Actor – Feature Film” for Tom Atkins at The Miami International Sci-Fi Film Festival. In 2020, It won “Best Indie Sci-Fi” at the Film Threat Award This! Awards. In 2021, Encounter won “Best Independent Film” at the 46th Annual Saturn Awards.
