Encounter had its World Premiere as the “Closing Night Film” at The Other Worlds Austin Sci-Fi Film Festival. It went on to win “Best Director” at The 44th Boston Sci-Film Festival and then the “Audience Award” and “Best Supporting Actor – Feature Film” for Tom Atkins at The Miami International Sci-Fi Film Festival. In 2020, ENCOUNTER won “Best Indie Sci-Fi” at the FILM THREAT Award This! Awards. In 2021, ENCOUNTER won “Best Independent Film” at The 46th Annual SATURN Awards.
